The Bears activated a pair of players from the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday.
Safety Elijah Hicks and linebacker Keyshaun Elliott have been cleared to practice with the team. Hicks has been dealing with a shin injury while Elliott has been out with a back injury.
Hicks played in all 19 games the Bears played last season and finished the year with 21 tackles. Elliott was a fifth-round pick this season.
The Bears also announced that they have signed linebacker Antonio Grier and placed linebacker Nephi Sewell on injured reserve. Sewell will not be eligible to return to active duty during the regular season.
