The reality of the situation is that Bayern Munich likely does maintain an ongoing interest in Wirtz (why wouldn’t the Bavarians keep an eye on one of Germany‘s top players?), but a move coming to fruition would be difficult right now or maybe even next summer.
First, Liverpool would not want to sell Wirtz at a discount barring some sort of total collapse this season. Second, Bayern Munich is not in need of another player at the moment, nor does it likely have all of its financial ducks in a row to make such a big move at the moment.
Maybe one day, Wirtz will suit up got Bayern Munich, but it probably won’t happen any time soon.

Freund has done well in his role under board member for sport Max Eberl, but he will always be scrutinized for his brief time in charge of personnel, which resulted in the signings of transfer busts Sacha Boey and Bryan Zaragoza.

FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick seems pretty thrilled with summer acquisition and Germany international Karim Adeyemi.
