Harry Kane‘s future at Bayern Munich has been the subject of intense speculation, despite zero indication from the club and the player that a separation is being discussed. All signs point to an extension, but any formal proceedings regarding the contract haven’t been heard from within the club.
Speaking in an interview with Sport1 (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia), Dreesen said the club has “a relaxed relationship [with Kane]. It is clear that both sides want it [the renewal].” Dreesen was also asked if the contract duration is the sticking point, which he opted not to divulge. “That’s one of the minor details I won’t be discussing here,” he stated.
Kane just came off a remarkable season for club and country last season, helping Bayern win the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal and guiding England to third place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It is no surprise that the 33-year-old is the frontrunner for the Ballon d’Or.
