Barcelona want to renew the contracts of another 4 players

The board at La Liga giants Barcelona are ready to reward four more young members of the club’s first-team setup with improved contract terms.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have this weekend provided an insight into the situation.

The subject of contract renewals has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 hours. This comes after Barcelona announced a new long-term deal for young frontman Hamza Abdelkarim.

And Deco and co, it would appear, are far from finished there when it comes to plans to tie down the club’s leading young talent for the long-term.

As per a report from MD:

‘FC Barcelona want to do the same with four other young players who have demonstrated their great quality.’

The quartet next in line to have their respective contracts renewed by those in a position of power at the Spotify Camp Nou? Gerard Martín, Marc Bernal, Xavi Espart, and Brian Fariñas.
