Barça equal an INCREDIBLE record

Funny how things work out…

Against Real Betis on Saturday night, FC Barcelona claimed their eleventh win (5-2)… in eleven matches across all competitions this season.

In La Liga, that makes nine wins from nine games. No team had made such a start in the Spanish league since the 1968/1969 season.

Barcelona have now equalled the best start to a season in La Liga history, a record previously held by… Real Madrid.

With a win next week, Barça would make it ten wins from ten games and claim outright the record for the best start to a season in La Liga history. And who do Barça play next week? Real Madrid. Fancy that!

This Clásico is going to be hot, hot, hot!
