Ballon d’Or 2026: His record phenomenal – Paul Lambert picks worthy winner for award

Former Aston Villa manager, Paul Lambert, has picked Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane as a worthy winner for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

According to Lambert, Kane’s record goalscoring record has been phenomenal.

Speaking to BOYLE Sports about the player to win the Ballon d’Or, the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder said, “If you look at Harry Kane’s goalscoring record, it’s been phenomenal.

“Would he be a worthy winner? Yeah, he would be a worthy winner. But it is so rare to win the Ballon d’Or without winning a World Cup or a Champions League.

“That is the reality of it. When you look at Rodri and players like that who are World Cup or Champions League winners, it’s going to be tough.”
