In Zamfara North, Ya’u secured 65,642 votes to defeat Hannafi Musa-Moriki, Sani Abdullahi-Shinkafi and Tijjani Yahaya.

Bala described the primaries as peaceful and transparent, noting that there were no reports of violence or major disputes during the exercise.

He urged aggrieved aspirants to channel their complaints through the party’s appeal committee scheduled to sit on May 28 in Gusau.

The committee chairman also commended party members, stakeholders and the Zamfara State Government for ensuring a peaceful atmosphere throughout the exercise.
