Analyst regrades the Vikings signing of Kyler Murray

At the time, the Kyler Murray signing was a no-brainer and a slam dunk. While the previous two seasons have not been kind to Murray, it was apparent that there needed to be some new life breathed into this quarterback room of the Minnesota Vikings. Now that we have had some time to look back on the move, Bleacher Report regraded the signing.

Moe Molton of Bleacher Report regraded the biggest moves made this offseason, and it remains an A. Here is what he had to say:

McCarthy after he struggled mightily last season, throwing for 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a 57.6 percent completion rate. Keep in mind, they fired general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who drafted McCarthy, and hired Nolan Tinsley to replace him.

Molton hit the nail on the head. Murray is the ultimate low-risk, high-reward move the Minnesota Vikings could make. Murray hits for next to nothing on the salary cap, and raises the floor of this offense exponentially. If Murray can revert to his old form, this could be a top-ten offense in 2026, and Minnesota could go on a playoff run.
