Alperen Sengun Houston Rockets 2025-26 regular season highlights

Despite various injuries throughout the 2025-26 season, center Alperen Sengun remained consistent for the Houston Rockets, earning his second consecutive All-Star nod. Throughout the year, Sengun averaged 20.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.2 steals and a career-high 1.1 blocks in 33.3 minutes per contest. Sengun also improved his 3-point efficiency by a notable amount, jumping from 23.3% a season ago to a much more palatable 30.5% last season.

With both Steven Adams and Fred VanVleet back in the fold, Sengun will have more weapons and less pressure to perform next year. That said, Rockets fans are still expecting the Turkish center to take a bigger leap if they are to contend for a top seed in a loaded Western Conference playoff race.
