De Minaur was last seen in action at Wimbledon, where he suffered a crushing straight-sets loss to Flavio Cobolli in the fourth round. The Australian was very emotional after his defeat, opening up about the “gut-wrenching” feeling of not stepping up in the crucial moments of the match and revealing that he could feel his dreams slipping away.

However, de Minaur quickly put the setback behind him and focused on a happier chapter in his personal life. He tied the knot with longtime partner Katie Boulter in an intimate ceremony in Leicestershire before the couple traveled to Tuscany for a more lavish celebration with their loved ones.
De Minaur has since turned his attention to his title defense at the DC Open, entering the ATP 500 event as the top seed.
