Alec Pierce injury update as Colts WR exits against Chiefs
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce left Sunday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs with an apparent heel injury.
Pierce appeared to suffer the injury while running an out route in the second quarter against Chiefs cornerback Nohl Williams.
He hobbled at the end of the play before leaving the field. Here are the latest updates on Pierce:

Pierce, who re-signed with the team on a four-year, $114 million contract this offseason, was listed as questionable to return. Shortly after, the Colts ruled out Pierce for the remainder of the game.
Pierce missed extended time during the summer after undergoing a clean-up procedure on his left ankle in March.
