Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin registered two receptions for a team-best 50 yards in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, while tying for a game high with nine targets.
Why it Matters: McLaurin had plenty of targets, especially once Jayden Daniels went down before halftime, and Marcus Mariota came in for the second half. However, he and the backup quarterback were unable to get on the same page very often. They’ll have plenty of time to work it out in practice and get familiarized, as Daniels is likely to miss time with what looked like another dislocated left elbow.
