The Students’ Union Government (SUG) wishes to inform the entire student community, particularly affected graduates, that the SUG President, Comr. Ugoani Emmanuel, recently held a productive meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ndukwe Okeudo, regarding the reopening of the course registration portal for students who have already graduated but were unable to complete their registration.
During the meeting, Comr. Emmanuel persistently presented the concerns of the affected students and emphasized the importance of resolving the outstanding course registration issues. We are pleased to report that the Vice-Chancellor received the matter with understanding and consideration.
Consequently, the Vice-Chancellor has graciously agreed to table the proposal for the reopening of the course registration portal for a period of three (3) months at the upcoming Senate meeting scheduled to hold on Wednesday 29th April, 2026.
The SUG President extends sincere appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor for his willingness to look into this matter in the interest of fairness and academic progress. This gesture reflects a continued commitment to addressing students’ concerns.
We hereby urge all affected students to remain calm, hopeful, and patient as the process unfolds. The Students’ Union Government remains fully committed to prioritizing and protecting the interests of all students. Further updates will be communicated in due course.
Thank you!
