Aaron Donald officially OUT for Eagles-Rams in Week 4

The Philadelphia Eagles offense can breathe a little easier heading into to Sundays matchup against the Rams. We learned on Friday that the Rams will be without legendary defender Aaron Donald, who will be sidelined with a back injury.

Donald is someone the Eagles coaches and players have said demands extra attention during their prep, and now they can put that energy elsewhere. Jalen Hurts and company (excluding DeVonta Smith, who is expected to miss this game) will still be challenged by a good Rams defense, especially as they’ve struggled the first few weeks of the season, but they’ve lucked out to avoid having to play Donald or Myles Garrett, who is still on IR.

Aside from wanting to play, Donald is probably a little extra bitter that he won’t have a chance to add some career stats against the Eagles, who have historically done a decent job of keeping him from wrecking things
