4-star PG Micah Gordon commits to Creighton

Four-star Micah Gordon, one of the top point guards in the 2027 class, has committed to Creighton, he told Rivals.

The 5-foot-11 senior out of Spire Academy (OH) ultimately chose the Bluejays over West Virginia and VCU, but received offers from Tennessee, Auburn, Providence, UCLA, UConn, and others.

He becomes Creighton’s second commitment this cycle, joining four-star small forward London Dada (No. 72 NATL).

Gordon, a native of Plainfield, New Jersey, is ranked as the No. 31 overall recruit in the 2027 class and the No. 8 ranked point guard, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings, an average of all three major recruiting media companies (Rivals, ESPN, 247Sports).

This summer on the Nike EYBL Circuit, Gordon averaged 18.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.4 steals for PSA Cardinals.

Good things tend to happen when Micah Gordon is on the floor. The 6-foot-0 point guard is quick as a hiccup at the point of attack, and in his second game on Wednesday, he put relentless pressure on the opposing team. Gordon attacks the rim with a purpose, and he finished with multiple dunks in the half-court today. He also uses his quick hands on the defensive end of the floor. Even with decision-making getting a little wild at times, and the jump shot needing continued work, there were so many positive plays that he was able to make.
