It feels like every year we see the SEC producing top-end defensive talent. You don’t have to look far for a talented prospect from this conference, and you can often find them in almost every round. One of the potential sleepers for the 2027 NFL Draft is Ole Miss defensive tackle Will Echoles.
Echoles is still fairly raw, but what we saw last season left a lot of people intrigued.

Will Echoles has as much upside as anyone in this entire class. Ole Miss got a gem in 2024, and if he can match his production from last season while showing better technique, he could be a round one contender in the 2027 NFL Draft, should he look to declare.
