2027 NFL Draft Summer Scouting Report: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

Quarterbacks are by far the most difficult position to scout in football, and maybe sports in general. Projections are difficult, as schemes, playbooks, understanding, and digesting the offense are exponentially harder than in college. However, as things stand, we could be looking at six quarterbacks taken in round one in the 2027 NFL Draft, and arguably the best one is Oregon‘s Dante Moore. Let’s talk about it.

Dante Moore lands as my QB1 for my early 2027 NFL Draft rankings, but we could see a ton of movement on this list as the season beings. He brings the highest floor of the prospects in the class, but his upside is capped as of now. Once he learns to let things rip and trust his skill, the ceiling will be very high.
