2027: I planned to make Ogogo my special adviser on culture, tourism – Senator Yayi [VIDEO]

The APC governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election, Solomon Adeola a.k.a Yayi, has disclosed his plan to make the late veteran actor Ogogo special adviser on culture and tourism.

Yayi, who is also the current senator representing Ogun West, made this disclosure during his meeting with Ogogo’s family at their Ilaro country home on Tuesday.

Speaking in a now viral video on social media, he said, “I planned to make Ogogo my Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism. Not just as SA but as a full cabinet member if I won the election and become the governor of Ogun State.

“That was my plan. I kept it to myself and I was working with it. Believing that God will do it.”

DAILY POST reports that Ogogo died at 66 on August 23, 2026 after his battle with cancer.

During the deceased battle with stage 4 cancer, Yayi was one of the primary financial backers, footing his medical bills.
