2027: Future is bright — Kwankwaso hosts Peter Obi after NDC screening

Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, has paid a visit to former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, at his Abuja residence.

Kwankwaso confirmed the visit via a statement posted on his official X handle on Wednesday.

He said, “Last night, I received a courtesy visit from my brother, His Excellency Peter Obi, shortly after his successful screening as the presidential aspirant of our party, the NDC.

“The future is bright and full of promise.”

The meeting came after the leadership of the NDC cleared Peter Obi to take part in the party’s presidential primary election.

The NDC screening committee, led by former Ebonyi governor Sam Egwu, cleared Obi in Abuja on Tuesday.
