The Los Angeles Lakers will be without superstar Luka Doncic on Wednesday, October 28th, as the guard deals with back tightness.
Lakers injury report vs. Clippers
Doncic will not be the only player out, as Cameron Carr, Adou Thiero, and Ziaire Williams will also miss the game.
Williams and Doncic played Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers, and with injuries bothering them, the Lakers decided to rest them on a back-to-back.
According to the Lakers injury report, Doncic is out with back tightness, while Ziaire Williams battles left foot soreness.

The Lakers play the Clippers on Wednesday, their second meeting in the first week of action, which shouldn’t be a big test and will give Doncic some rest after playing a ton of games.
Wednesday’s game will be their fifth game in eight days, a grueling start to their schedule.
Doncic’s hot start
This season, he averages 36 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 8.3 assists, shooting 48.4% from the field.

Doncic is lighting it up from deep, shooting 39.6%, while he is averaging 10 free-throw attempts per game.
His loss will be massive offensively, but the Lakers’ defense could surge with a better defender in his spot. The Lakers will have two starting spots open, which may be filled by Sandro Mamukelashvili and Collin Sexton at guard and wing.
Austin Reaves will see more of his usual minutes, but Doncic will be hard to replace no matter what.
“When he’s in the flow state, he gets into like showman mode, he’s on stage performing,” Redick said. “That’s always — it’s always really fun to watch.”
