This follows a 1-0 win over Portugal in the last-16 of this year’s competition on Monday night.
No one has scored against La Roja at the tournament so far.
Goalkeeper Unai Simon has also extended his individual World Cup record.
Simon has gone 609 minutes without conceding a goal in the competition.
The European champions opened their tournament with a 0-0 draw with debutants Cape Verde.
They thrashed Saudi Arabia 4-0 and edged Uruguay 1-0 to round off the group stages.
In the last 32, Spain hammered Austria 3-0.
