2026 World Cup: Haaland names team that may not win trophy

Norway striker, Erling Haaland, has insisted they are not likely to win the 2026 World Cup.

Haaland, however, rates England as one of the favourites to win the trophy.

He was speaking ahead of their quarter-final clash against the Three Lions on Saturday.

Norway beat Brazil 2-0 in the last 16, thanks to a Haaland double, while 10-man England edged Mexico 3-2 last Sunday.

When asked about Norway’s chances of winning the World Cup, Haaland said: “Really low, still.

“I think there are some clear favourites out there. England is one of them.

“I think all of you should put every single pressure on the English lads.”
