2026 CPKC Championship prize money payouts for each LPGA player in Canada

Miyu Yamashita opened with a 62 at the CPKC Women’s Open and never took her foot off the gas. One of the game’s most precise players, Yamashita torched the field by nine strokes.

The No. 7-ranked player in the world, Yamashita tied an LPGA scoring record of 257, set by Sei Young Kim in 2018. Now a four-time winner on the LPGA, the petite Yamashita won $412,500 out of a purse of $2.75 million.

Kiara Romero, making her pro debut in Canada, made headlines with her opening 64. A poor finish – bogey/bogey/double – over the last three holes dropped her down to a share of 24th and a paycheck of $25,670.

Two birdies to close out the round proved big for rookie Laney Frye, who finished T-7, earning valuable CME points toward keeping her card and a $75,270 payday.

Canada’s Anna Huang, a four-time winner on the LET at only 17 years old, tied for fourth ($118,531) to play her way into next week’s FM Championship along with 16-year-old amateur Aphrodite Deng, who took a share of seventh but no money.

Both Gina Kim and Yuri Yoshida missed six straight cuts coming into this week. Kim, who won the Dow team event earlier this year with Yana Wilson, finished in a share of fourth while Yoshida came in solo second, making $259,395.
