India ended their seven-match losing streak as they beat Zimbabwe by seven wickets in the first T20I in Harare on Thursday.
Since defending the T20 World Cup title in March, India hasn’t won a single match in the shortest format, going down 0-2 to Ireland before a 0-4 sweep against England.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was the star of the match with a blistering 50 off just 18 balls, before Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer sealed a comfortable victory.

Marumani helps Zimbabwe post a respectable total on the board. The hosts scored 47 runs in the last five overs. Nonetheless, the Indian bowlers should be happy with their performance.

Burn and Madhevere have helped Zimbabwe get out of the hole. They are inching towards the three-figure mark, and that should be a morale booster for the team.
After 10 overs, ZIM are 46/4
Zimbabwe are sluggish and have lost their skipper Sikandar Raza. They should aim to get at least 120 on the board to give their bowlers something to fight for.
After six overs, ZIM are 26/3
An awful start for Zimbabwe as they have lost three wickets inside the powerplay. Mayank Yadav has got two, while Prince has one. Should be a cake walk for India.
