Your feud has no impact on Igbos, presidential election – Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer to Soludo, Peter Obi

Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has called on the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, to stop their feud.

Ejimakor said the feud between Obi and Soludo is of no political good to both of them and the Igbo race.

Trouble started when Obi claimed Anambra State was debt free when his tenure as governor of the state ended.

But the Anambra State government insisted that Obi’s administration left outstanding loans, arrears of salaries, pensions and gratuities.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Value Reorientation, Dr Law Mefor, the government said Soludo’s administration had cleared about N22 billion in inherited gratuity arrears owed to retired state and local government employees and teachers.

Reacting, Ejimakor insisted that the feud between Obi and Soludo would have no impact on the outcome of the 2027 presidential election.

Posting on X, he wrote: “Soludo and Obi should stop this feud. The Igbos egging them on, should also stop.

“The feud does no political good for either of them or for Ndigbo. And it won’t have any impact on who wins or loses the 2027 presidential election.

“Instead, it distracts one from governance, and the other from facing his campaign.”
