There were certainly cheers Tuesday night then the Tampa Bay Rays did something good at Game 4 of the World Series.
But when the Brewers were balling, it sounded like a Milwaukee home game. To be clear, it was not.
This was no more apparent than when the Brewers scored their first run of the game in the top of the fourth inning. With Tampa Bay holding a 1-0 lead, Milwaukee’s Cooper Pratt took the plate with two outs and Sal Frelick on first.
Pratt sent a first-pitch offering down the left-field line that reached the warning track. Frelick hustled home all the way from first to tie the game at 1-1.

And Tropicana Field sounded like Milwaukee’s American Family Field.
When Milwaukee’s David Hamilton hit a solo shot in the fifth to tie the game again at 2-2, the roars rung out again in St. Petersburg.

Fans in the stands certainly took notice and posted videos of the Brewers contingent from the bleachers.

One former World Series champion said that he’s never seen anything like it.
I’ve never seen an Away team have more fans at a road playoff game then tonight in Tampa Bay. #ThisIsMyCrew fans are loud and showing out!!

As for fans who couldn’t make the trip to Florida? Plenty packed the stands at American Family Field for a watch party.
You’d think Game 4 was right here in Milwaukee.

The Brewers can taste it. As can their fans.
