The merchandise broke a record, the attendance went over seat capacity and at the tail end the Milwaukee Brewers broke their record for highest 50-50 raffle prize in franchise history Friday night.
A Milwaukee Brewers spokesperson confirmed the $112,410 cashout on Oct. 23 was the highest prize the stadium has ever awarded in the stadium’s history. The prize was claimed in time, according to the Milwaukee Brewers’ 50-50 raffle page.
50-50 raffle tickets pool guest entries together, half of the cash pile going to the Brewers Community Foundation charity and the other half going to a lucky entrant whose ticket is drawn in the middle of the sixth inning.
The latest prize was more than $30,000 higher than the next largest prize this season. The season record was set Oct. 11 at $80,670 when the Brewers beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-1.

The mega-sized prize was likely due to the smash hit in attendance. American Family Field let in more guests than the stadium has seats. According to broadcasters, 43,250 guests got inside the 41,900 seat stadium for Game 1 of the World Series.
