Chelsea legend, John Terry, has named four leaders in the England team following the Three Lions’ recent World Cup Round of 16 win against Mexico.
Recall that England defeated the World Cup co-host nation, thanks to Jude Bellingham’s brace and a goal from Harry Kane.
Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Terry named Bellingham, Kane, Declan Rice and Reece James as leaders in the England team.
According to him, the four players cannot get injured and have to be at the forefront for Thomas Tuchel’s side to achieve success.
“There’s leaders in the group. Harry Kane, we have seen that in his football career, Jude Bellingham at that young age doing that already, Declan Rice, I’m also including Reece James in that,” Terry said.
“They cannot get injured and have to be at the forefront of our success. Without those guys driving the team, driving the standards.”
England’s next World Cup game is against Norway in the quarter-final stage on Saturday.
