World Cup 2026: He was shaky, slow – Shearer slams Brazil star after Morocco draw

Former England striker, Alan Shearer, has criticized Gabriel Magalhaes after Brazil’s World Cup 1-1 draw with Morocco at the weekend.

Shearer was not impressed with the Arsenal defender’s display against Morocco, insisting that he was shaky and slow.

Morocco took the lead through Ismael Saibari in the first half before Vinicius Junior restored parity for Brazil.

“He’s looked shaky, Gabriel, today,” Shearer said during the BBC’s coverage of the game.

“On two or three occasions, the ball has gone out, and I thought he could’ve attacked it and he didn’t. He’s been slow.

“Certainly, with the goal in the first half, the gap between him and Marquinhos was huge.”
