#Woof: Huskies Land A Top Edge From New Jersey

Happy Tuesday Husky fans. The Huskies got some welcome news today when 3 star edge Chaz Gray from St Joseph Regional HS, NJ committed to UW. The Huskies offered Gray relatively late but were able to close him after an official visit the last weekend of may. Listed at 6’4″ and around 250 pounds Gray has ideal size for the edge position and looks like he put on a little more weight to get into the 260-270 pound range. The Huskies beat out Tennessee, Clemson, and Ohio State to land in Gray who is rated as the 33rd best edge in the country by 247sports. Last season he had 40 tackles, 6 1/2 TFL’s ad 3.5 sacks.

Gray is now the 18th commit in the class and one of the more intriguing commits in the class for Husky fans. Husky nation please help me welcome Chaz to Montlake.
