IS ANGEL REESE ONE OF THE MOST OVERRATED PLAYERS IN THE WNBA?

Before the comments explode, let’s have an honest conversation.

Angel Reese is one of the biggest names in women’s basketball. She gets attention, drives engagement and has one of the most passionate fan bases in the sport.

But are we talking enough about what happens between the lines?

Reese scored just seven points in Atlanta’s 64-55 loss to Golden State on Monday night. The Dream now trail 3-2 in the WNBA Finals, and their season is hanging by a thread.

Her supporters will point to her rebounding, physicality and the impact she has beyond scoring. Fair enough. Those things matter.

But the biggest stars are judged by what they deliver when the pressure is highest. And when the offense is struggling, a player with Reese’s profile has to find ways to make a bigger impact.

The uncomfortable question is whether the hype surrounding Reese has outpaced her offensive development.

That doesn’t mean she isn’t talented. It doesn’t mean she can’t improve. And it certainly doesn’t mean one bad game defines her career.

But if we can’t question a star after a performance like that, what exactly are we allowed to criticize?

BE HONEST: Is Angel Reese underrated because people focus on the hate, or overrated because the hype has gotten too big?

No fence-sitting. We want to hear your argument.
