Will LSU football LB TJ Dottery play against Ole Miss? LSU's final injury report

OXFORD, Miss. – In his return to Oxford, Mississippi, LSU football senior linebacker TJ Dottery may not be able to suit up for his new team.

On LSU’s final injury report before the monster top-10 showdown with No. 9 Ole Miss inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Sept. 19, Dottery is listed as a game-time decision. Lane Kiffin and No. 7 LSU (2-0) have been dominant on defense through the first two games of the 2026 season and Dottery, ther former Rebels linebacker, has been a big reason why.

Dottery was listed was “questionable” since Wednesday. In a team-released video on its social media accounts, Dottery was spotted in a walking boot when the team deboarded the plane Friday evening.

Freshman wide receiver Phillip Wright III, freshman edge rusher Jaidan Braker and sophomore running back Raycine Guillory Jr. are out for the tonight’s game.

Junior starting quarterback Sam Leavitt opened the week as “doubtful” was upgraded to “questionable” on Thursday night before being removed from LSU’s injury report completely Friday, signaling that he would be available to play against the Rebels Saturday night.

Other notable LSU players that made appearances on LSU’s injury report this week was senior linebacker Whit Weeks and tight end Trey’Dez Green. Both were listed as “questionable” and “probable”, respectively, during the week, and both will be available to play
