Wigan Athletic have signed goalkeeper Joe Walsh on a season-long loan from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
The 24-year-old came through Gillingham’s academy and went on to make his first-team debut in 2019 before joining QPR in January 2021.
He went on to make his league debut for the Rs in 2023-24 and established himself in their squad, making 23 Championship appearances last term.
“It makes you feel wanted. I heard a few different teams were looking at me, and once I knew Wigan were interested, I tried to do everything I could to get here,” he said.
