It all comes down to this. After a summer full of heated competitions, the 2026 DCI World Championships will finally take place Saturday.

The world’s best drum and bugle corps are headed back to Lucas Oil Stadium for another year, but only a handful of bands will ultimately get the chance to compete for a title. The top 25 groups will participate in Friday’s semifinal, and then the field will be cut down to just 12 for Saturday’s Championship.

Known as “Marching Music’s Major League”, a DCI title is considered a career pinnacle for elite musicians and ensembles. After an extensive summer tour with stops in California, Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Tennessee, Massachusetts and beyond, a World Champion will officially be crowned in Indy.
