Who is Freddy? That’s a question everyone who has discovered this German fan’s viral journey through the United States for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is asking.
It’s a question that, right now, doesn’t seem to have a full answer. But what’s clear is that Freddy is going on a journey that is captivating thousands upon thousands of people.
Freddy, as best anyone can tell, came to the U.S. to follow Germany at this World Cup, seemingly with a couple of friends.
He has seen natural landmarks, special sporting scenes (including more than soccer), cool tourist spots and so much more.

Freddy is going to see Ella Langley, the country star, in a concert on Thursday, June 18.
He has posted often on his X account about his newfound fandom for Langley.
