Where is Brazil vs. Norway game today? World Cup match location
On Sunday, July 5, Brazil and Norway meet in one of the most intriguing matchups of the round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup.
It will be a star-studded showcase in East Rutherford, New Jersey, when Erling Haaland of Norway and Vinícius Júnior of Brazil square off. With five goals, Haaland is two behind Golden Boot co-leaders Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Vini Jr., meanwhile, is in the running with four goals.
While Norway has never advanced beyond the round of 16 at a World Cup, Brazil is a five-time World Cup champion and has advanced to at least the quarterfinals in the previous eight World Cups.
Here’s what to know about the round of 16 matchup between Brazil and Norway, including where it will be played and how to watch it:
The Brazil vs. Norway round of 16 match will be played at MetLife Stadium (known as New York New Jersey Stadium for the duration of the 2026 World Cup).
