Where do Golden State Warriors players rank among top-100 in the NBA?

Prior to the 2026-27 NBA season, ESPN is ranking the top-100 players in the league. While the Golden State Warriors don’t have as many representatives as they would have in seasons past, former two-time MVP Stephen Curry ranked near the top of the list.

Beginning toward the bottom of the list, former Defensive Player of the Year Award winner Draymond Green dropped considerably from his spot in last year’s ranking (51). That said, the four-time All-Star still came up big when it mattered most, playing clutch defense against Kawhi Leonard in Golden State’s Play-In Tournament win against the Los Angeles Clippers. Last season, Green averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks.

Just ahead of Green was his teammate Jimmy Butler III, who ranked in the No. 18 position a season ago. Butler III was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors until suffering a season-ending ACL injury in January. In 38 games with Golden State, Butler III averaged 20 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 51.9% from the field and 37.6% from beyond the arc.

Despite missing nearly half of last season due to a lingering knee injury, Stephen Curry’s impact remains undeniable. In 43 games last season, the 12-time All-Star averaged 26.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks while shooting 46.8% from the field and 39.3% from long distance.

Of all Warriors players omitted from the top-100 list, Kristaps Porzingis is easily the biggest snub. Although he played in just 32 games last season, the argument can certainly be made for the Latvian over many players ranked in the 90 to 100 range, including Lugentz Dort or Fred VanVleet, who missed the entire season due to injury. Last season, Porzingis averaged 16.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.2 blocks. Ahead of the 2026-27 season, Warriors assistant coach Frank Vogel has expressed a desire to make Porzingis a focal point of Golden State’s interior defense.
