Golfweek released its rankings of the best public-access golf courses in Alabama on June 15, highlighting 10 courses that stand out for their design, playability and overall experience. Public-access courses are open to the public, though some may offer memberships or resort accommodations.

Notably, all 10 courses on Golfweek’s Alabama rankings are classified as modern courses, meaning they were built in 1960 or later. The list features several courses along the state’s renowned Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, as well as other highly-regarded layouts that have earned national recognition.
