What Was Ryan Silverfield Thinking?

Like Top Gun and Caddyshack, it’s a movie you’ve seen a thousand times before.A college football coach stands on the sideline as the seconds tick away. His chance to emerge victorious left the building right along with half the fans when this one was obviously well in hand, and not his hand. He’s about to officially lose the football game that he really needed to win.

“Tom Osborne riding through Omaha on a three-legged donkey!” you exclaim, “What must that poor guy be thinking?!?!?”

As usual, I have an idea or two.

Dawgs, this is Arkansas Razorbacks coach Ryan Silverfield in the closing moments of his teams’s 45-17 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.

What was Ryan Silverfield thinking?

a) “That Dandridge guy was the only Georgia receiver traveling 900 miles an hour today.”

b) “If Pittman sends me one more text with nothing but laughing smiley faces and money bag emojis I am gonna drop that juke box on him.”

c) “I sort of hate that fan boycott they were pushing didn’t work out. It would have been better if there weren’t witnesses.”

d) “Three weeks in and I already feel like Bobby Petrino looks at his motorcycle accident press conference.”
