What teams are former FSU Seminoles playing on in the AUSL?

While Florida State‘s 2026 softball season has come to an end, several former Seminoles are continuing their careers at the professional level this summer. The AUSL opens its 2026 season on Tuesday, and the Seminoles will be well represented.

Four Florida State alumni — Jessi Warren, Sydney Sherrill, Michaela Edenfield, and Kat Sandercock — are currently on AUSL rosters, giving Seminole fans plenty of familiar faces to follow throughout the summer. Their presence in the professional ranks serves as another reminder of Florida State’s sustained success and its ability to develop players capable of excelling long after their collegiate careers conclude.

Warren and Sherrill rank among the most decorated infielders in program history. Both were key contributors during FSU’s rise to national prominence and played major roles in the Seminoles’ 2018 national championship run. Warren earned All-America honors during her career and later became the first Seminole to win a Rawlings Gold Glove Award in 2019, while Sherrill followed by capturing the same honor in 2022.

Edenfield became one of the most recognizable players in recent FSU history during her time behind the plate. Known for her power at the plate and leadership qualities, the catcher helped guide the Seminoles to multiple Women’s College World Series appearances and earned All-America recognition during her collegiate career.

Sandercock established herself as one of the most accomplished pitchers in program history. During her career in Tallahassee, she helped lead FSU to the 2021 Women’s College World Series finals and finished her Seminole tenure among the program’s all-time leaders in wins and innings pitched. Her consistency and postseason success made her one of the most reliable pitchers in the country during her collegiate career.

The AUSL continues to serve as one of the premier professional softball leagues in the United States, featuring many of the sport’s top current and former collegiate stars. FSU’s representation in the league reflects the program’s continued ability to develop players capable of competing at the professional level.

For Seminole fans, the summer season offers another opportunity to follow some of the most accomplished players in program history. With Warren, Sherrill, Edenfield, and Sandercock all appearing on AUSL rosters, Florida State remains well represented on the professional softball stage in 2026.
