Luka Doncic is sporting a new look ahead of his second full season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Los Angeles Lakers have gone above and beyond to surround Luka Doncic with quality players this offseason.
The franchise even parted ways with LeBron James to enter the Doncic era ahead of the new season. Speaking of the former Dallas Mavericks star, one change about him has caught the eye of many fans during the offseason.
It’s none other than Doncic growing out his hair, and Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki has shared his honest reaction to it.

Nowitzki recently sat down for an interview with FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth, where the NBA legend discussed a plethora of things.
It was only natural for the conversation to involve Doncic, as he was supposed to be the next cornerstone superstar of the team before the controversial 2025 trade to the Purple and Gold.
“Oh, he looks clean. I gotta say. He looks clean. He looks tan, he looks slim, he looks ready to go! The Lakers also went through some changes… made some nice moves that is gonna make them better,” Nowitzki said.
“Luka looked incredible there. I saw him there in March. … If he’s healthy and ready to go, he’s gonna have a great season for sure,” the Mavs legend added.
Nowitzki has always been in Doncic’s corner, even after the star guard was traded to the Lakers. It was evident that the 2011 NBA champion wants Doncic to have a phenomenal season.
As for Nowitzki, he will likely be in the audience encouraging the Lakers superstar to finally win the first regular-season MVP of his career and potentially lead the team to an NBA Championship.
