An insight into the stance of those in the boardroom at Atlético Madrid regarding the potential sale of Julián Alvarez to Real Madrid has come to the fore online.

This comes amid the assurance that the Rojiblancos have absolutely no intention of allowing such an important player to join their cross-city rivals.

The name of frontman Alvarez of course reemerged in force in the headlines across Spain’s capital early this week.

As much came amid reports that the Argentine could be the mystery €150 million transfer target in the sights of Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez.

As alluded to above, though, even in the case of such a mammoth offer landing on the desks of the Metropolitano boardroom, a Bernabéu switch is highly unlikely for Alvarez this summer.
