The draw for the Carabao Cup quarterfinals is complete, and the last eight will offer up some intriguing ties.
Fleetwood Town is the lowest-ranked side remaining, with the League Two outfit stunning Arsenal on penalties on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The Fishermen have been drawn against the the winner of Everton’s match with Newcastle United on Thursday, Oct. 29.
The Gunners aren’t the only big London team missing out. After a long penalty shootout, Chelsea bowed out with Liverpool winning in a penalty shootout.
Liverpool now meets Bournemouth with ex-Cherries manager Andoni Iraola seeing his former charges in the cup competition.
