Two months after their last meeting, the Yankees and Blue Jays reconvene this weekend in Toronto for a three-game series. 

New York has won four of the seven games between the AL East rivals this season, but every matchup has been tight, with the margin at two runs or fewer entering the final innings. 

While the Yankees are looking up at the Rays in the division standings, they lead the AL wild card race and a postseason spot seems all but assured.

The Blue Jays, on the other hand, have been one of MLB’s most disappointing teams this year on the heels of last fall’s World Series run. But with six weeks to play, they are among a half-dozen teams still in the wild card mix, so they haven’t thrown in the towel yet.
