The Wildcats bounced back from last week’s one-point loss to Linsly with a commanding performance against the Lakers.

Maddox Smith had four touchdowns (two rushing, two passing) for Mogadore (5-2). After Kade Thomas got the Wildcats on the board with a four-yard touchdown run, Smith pushed their lead to 14-0 with a one-yard score. The senior then took to the air, with a 77-yard touchdown pass to Quarviyon Siggers-Greco and a 39-yard touchdown pass to Collin Hendrickson.

Down 7-0 after a quarter, the Badgers rallied with 28 points in the second stanza. They outscored the Rovers 47-7 over the final three quarters. Oliver Miller had six touchdowns (five rushing, one passing) for Berkshire.

After Rootstown quarterback Blake Mullaly scored the night’s first touchdown, Miller responded with an 18-yard touchdown run to tie the score. Bennett Miller gave the Badgers (4-3, 3-1 CVC Valley) their first lead with a 45-yard pick-six. Miller then connected with Bear Masink for a 61-yard touchdown pass to take a two-score lead. Miller finished 12-of-18 passing for 161 yards along with 11 carries for 78 yards. Dasen Marker had six catches for 49 yards.

Mullaly led the Rovers (3-4, 0-3 CVC Valley) in carries (25), rushing yards (141) and touchdowns (two).

The Bombers held the Greenmen scoreless for the first three quarters en route to a Suburban American win.

Kenston’s Tucker Meeks had the lone score of the first half when he ran in a touchdown from three yards out. The Bombers (4-3, 3-1 Suburban American) kept the Greenmen off the scoreboard for the rest of the half thanks (in part) to a blocked field goal.

Down 14-0, Tommy Stenger got Aurora on the scoreboard with a 79-yard touchdown run. Stenger led the Greenmen (2-5, 1-3) in carries (20) and rushing yards (171).

After Aurora drew within 14-8 with 7:47 remaining, Kenston iced the game with a Jake Rostocil fake punt rushing touchdown.

The Colts (6-1, 4-0) stayed atop the MAC behind a 49-point first half, including a 35-point second quarter. Three of Isaac Smith’s seven passes went for touchdowns while Kellen Price (10 carries, 89 yards) turned in a big game on the ground.

Mason Ford led the Falcons (2-5, 1-3) with 105 passing and 69 rushing yards. He ran and passed for a touchdown apiece. Alex Williams (three catches, 89 yards, TD) was Ford’s leading weapon through the air.

The Rough Riders recorded their second straight shutout to push above .500 on the season.
