WATCH: Ohio State coach Ryan Day talks after Week 2 of fall camp

Two weeks of preseason fall camp are now in the books for the Ohio State football team, and that means things are nearing halfway through from a time standpoint, but will start to ramp up when it comes to time on the field as things head towards the first game against Ball State in the ‘Shoe on Saturday, Sept. 5.

There’s still a long way to go with getting the team ready to play in the light of day, but head coach Ryan Day met with reporters on Friday after a scrimmage to field questions and provide an update on where things are. The general theme is that the Buckeyes are in a race against time to prepare, but Day provided great updates on several things, including where the coming together of the offensive line is, the running back room, who might emerge as depth pieces at wide receiver, how many freshmen might see time, and much more.
