Warriors to sign former Gonzaga standout Graham Ike to two-way deal

After a standout NBA Summer League, Graham Ike has stuck as a Warrior. 

Golden State is signing Ike to a two-way deal, league sources with knowledge of the contract told the Chronicle on Sunday night. After going undrafted in 2026 following a standout career at Gonzaga, the 24-year-old big man played a crucial role in the Warriors’ NBA Summer League title this July, averaging 10 points and 7.2 rebounds across nine total summer contests. 

It’s a two-year, two-way deal for Ike, a source told the Chronicle. The Warriors, now, appear to have all their two-way slots filled, with Ike joining holdovers LJ Cryer and Malevy Leons on two-way deals as Golden State prepares for training camp, which kicks off Sept. 29 in Hawaii.

The Ike signing, now, leaves an ambiguous fate for 2026 second-round pick Lajae Jones. If the 6-foot-7 Jones isn’t able to beat out Ike, Cryer or Leons for a two-way spot in camp, the Warriors could opt to stash Jones in the G League or overseas in 2026-27 while retaining his draft rights. 

The 6-foot-9 Ike adds to a growing mix of two-way and Exhibit 10 signees joining Golden State in training camp. After beginning his collegiate career at Wyoming, Ike transferred to Gonzaga and grew into one of the most productive college players in the country. He averaged 17.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game across three seasons with Gonzaga, and was named an All-American in 2025-26. 

In particular, he flashed some intriguing big-to-big pick-and-roll chemistry with Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg during NBA Summer League. Ike  doesn’t sport dominant size, but has a versatile offensive game, developing hints of a 3-point jumper and shooting 80% from the free-throw line with the Bulldogs.

There’s a legitimate opportunity for Ike to see the floor at the dawn of the season, too, given the Warriors’ core of bigs. Golden State can’t count on 7-foot-3 center Kristaps Porzingis to play on consecutive days, and 40-year-old backup Al Horford missed 37 regular-season games last season.
