FIFA World Cup 2026 is happening from June 11 to July 19 as 48 teams from around the globe compete in the 104-game tournament across 16 host cities in three countries – Canada, Mexico and the United States.

If you’re a big soccer (football) fan or just love sporting events in general, you probably want to hang out with a fun crowd to watch the games. While the Staunton and Waynesboro areas do not have a dedicated soccer-specific pub, local spots that have FOX and FS1 (and Telemundo and Universo for Spanish coverage) can broadcast the matches, especially the World Cup final.

Basic City Beer Co., 1010 E. Main St., Waynesboro has large TV screens spread out in its warehouse space, with a beer and bar menu that shows major sports games.
Bricks Restaurant and Pub, 111 N. Augusta St., Staunton is known for putting major events on their TVs and has pool tables, darts, and a kitchen that stays open late.
Brothers Pizza & Italian Restaurant, 74 Orchard Hill Circle, Staunton is a casual, dine-in space with three TVs that serves beer, pizza and subs and streams FS1 sporting events like the Super Bowl and World Cup games.
Buffalo Wild Wings, 437a Tiffany Drive, Waynesboro with big screen TVs and a full sports bar menu, it’s a great spot to catch a game.
Byers Street Bistro, 18 Byers St., Staunton has a bar area that routinely shows sports and has multiple TVs to catch a match, have a beer and burger and hang out.
Chili’s Grill and Bar, 1025 Richmond Ave., Staunton features TVs in the bar area and regularly broadcasts major sporting events.
The Depot Grille, 42 Middlebrook Ave., Staunton at the historic rail depot features a tavern-style bar section equipped with TVs that regularly broadcast live sports on FS1.
Los Panchos, 156 Lucy Lane, Waynesboro is a great spot for soccer fans. They feature TVs in their dining and bar areas that regularly broadcast major live sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup.
Seven Arrows Brewing Company, 2508 Jefferson Hwy., Waynesboro has multiple TVs set up throughout its taproom, streams FOX and shows sporting events like the games.
Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill, 16 Ivy Ridge Lane, Fishersville has a dedicated following as a spot for watching games with a crowd and streams FS1 to watch the World Cup matches.
