<p>With 74% of the total vote share, Marlboro baseball&#8217;s Liam Correa won the Poughkeepsie Journal Boys Athlete of the Week poll for June 1-7.</p>
<p><strong>The Poughkeepsie Journal Boys Athlete of the Week for June 8-14 is now live.</strong></p>
<p>Nominations are based on information gathered and received by the Poughkeepsie Journal throughout the week. For consideration, coaches are asked to submit game information and player stats to Edecker@usatodayco.com before the end of the week.</p>
<p>Each week&#8217;s winner will be selected and posted in the upcoming week&#8217;s poll. <strong>Polls will close at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday night</strong> before the announcement the following morning.</p>
<p>The sophomore placed fifth in the Class A 200-meter dash at the NYSPHSAA New York State Championships at Webster Schroeder with a time of 22.09.</p>
<p>The senior placed eighth in the Class C long jump at the NYSPHSAA New York State Championships at Webster Schroeder with a jump of 21-4.</p>
<p>Durandisse placed sixth overall in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the NYSPHSAA New York State Championships at Webster Schroeder with a time of 9:30.14.</p>
<p>Johnson won his third-straight Class A state championship in the pentathlon at the NYSPHSAA New York State Championships at Webster Schroeder.</p>
<p>Timm won the Class B state championship in the pentathlon at the NYSPHSAA New York State Championships at Webster Schroeder.</p>
