US will end war with Iran very soon – Trump

United States President Donald Trump says the US will end the war with Iran very soon, reiterating claims he has made throughout the conflict.

Trump made this remark while speaking at the annual Congressional Picnic, which is being held on the south lawn of the White House.

The Republican equally echoed his earlier remarks by insisting that Tehran wants to make a deal so badly.

According to him: “It’s going to happen and it’s going to happen fast. You’re going to see oil prices plummet, they’re going to come down.”

Trump’s comment is coming after he claimed earlier this week that Tehran was begging to make a deal after revealing he was only an hour away from ordering new strikes on Iran.

Recall that Trump called off the attacks at the request of America’s Gulf allies, to allow, he claimed, for serious negotiations to continue.

The president, however, warned that the US was readying a full assault if Iran did not make a deal.
